Originally I am from the Minnesota/Wisconsin area and moved to a small rural community in the Prince William Sound Alaska area, traveling a bit for my collegiate experience and then returning to Alaska to settle down in Anchorage.
How did you feel when you heard you had been named an Ahtna Employee of the Year?
I am generally very outspoken on all things, but when it comes to personal recognition… I was surprised and very appreciative to be selected with the other 2017 Ahtna Employees of the Year. The selectees show that there is a dynamic workforce working for Ahtna, and I am proud to be among the group!
What made you want to work for the Ahtna family of companies?
I came to work for Ahtna on the recommendation of a current Ahtna employee, that it would be a good fit for me. It has turned out to be a great fit for me and I enjoy all of the challenges and experiences that go along with the government contracting world.
What do you love most about your job and the work you do?
I enjoy the family attitude and friendliness of the Ahtna employees and their willingness to assist others in achieving their project goals and working through challenging situations.
